In June, our Foodbank will be at Strawberry Place for collections before each of the Sam Fender shows at St James’ Park. Sam, a long-time supporter of our Charity’s work to tackle hunger and reduce poverty in the city, visited our Foodbank back in 2021 to pack food parcels and meet staff and volunteers.
Sam also supported our Foodbank collections at his 2023 St James’ Park concerts to raise funds for our work across the City. This summer, we are delighted to have Sam’s continued support and will be collecting on Strawberry Place, with the backing from NUFC Fans Foodbank volunteers, before Sam’s gigs on Thursday, 12th, Saturday, 14th, and Sunday, 15th of June.
